Third piece in my series.

Medium - Prismacolor pencils
Size - 18x24 inches

Model - :iconchibimizuthing:

Her picture was easy to take. Too bad I never had anybody to take a picture of me. I had to use the timer thing on my camera until I got it, and even that didn't turn out right. My mini-me looks like the hunchback of notre dam. :XD:

Give me your best/harshest critique. Otherwise how would I get any better?

EDIT - No more downloading. Watermark added.

I have to say, this is simply astounding. the effort and heart you put into this shows aboundingly, and in turn I absolutely adore this. the symbolism in this piece is incredibly strong, it's a message I feel any-one could relate to.

if not that it sounded so corny, I would say that this piece depicts what dreams are made of XD, aw what the heck, it does!

no on to my critique-
Vision- I give you a five, because as I said the symbolism is strong, and it's masterful execution. I honestly feel that there's nothing that can add to the vision aspect of this piece.

Originality- I'm giving you a 3.5, not because the idea is over played, but because it's not the first time I've seen it. and that's honestly the only reason, otherwise this is incredibly original which is why I hesitate to give it a rating even that low.

Technique- Five! no question. I have never seen prisma colored pencils used this well. when I first clicked on this image, I thought it to be acrylic paint! also love how you used two differing style in this picture, one for the artist, and one for his subjects. you can see the skill there.

and finally impact- I give you a 3. while the execution is spectacular, the emptiness of all the black and white in the picture leaves little to make an impact on. the flesh and hair of the the boy are certainly well done, but that's as far as I feel the impact going.

Great piece of work but there are many things i like and don't like.
I'll start off with what i do like. I absolutely love the concept. The detail on the big version of you is superb. Great shading on the face and hair. The shading on the mini version of you is also very well done

There isn't enough detail in your drawing hand. It looks way too smooth
I think it would be better if right foot of the mini you was showing because it looks like he is just floating there. He does a little hump-backed. There is something about his hand that I don't like but I can't figures it out.

Also I think her right hand should be clenched because she wouldn't be crawling with her hand like that, it looks unnatural. Something about her legs is unnatural-looking too.

Keep up the good work though

I think it's because Myself Drawing Me already did and this one is just too similar to it. Regardless, I'm glad you enjoy it.
